PORTLAND will take on Last Orders in the final of the Workington & District Sunday League Divisional Cup.

In the semi-finals Portland were 4-1 winners over Crosby thanks to goals from Graham Caton, Darren Mullins, Alex Roberts and Liam Cooke. Tony Harrison netted for Crosby.

Goals from Scott Pears, Greg Quayle and Colin McAllister saw Last Orders defeat Flimby for whom Wayne Graham and Scott Lawson were on target.

In league action William Hill maintained the pressure on premiership leaders Northside.

William Hill were 4-2 winners at Deer Orchard with two of their goals – netted by Mark Varty and Dan Scholey – coming from penalties. Keith Skillen and Mark Hine scored William Hill’s other goals while Dan Burns and Callum West netted for Deer Orchard.

Northside stayed top with a 2-0 win of Red House Athletic – John Price getting both goals.

Senhouse were 6-2 victors over Bluebell. Dominic McGee led the way with a hat-trick and other goals came from Andrew Wilson, Dave Skelton and Dean Winder. Jack Fryer and Rob McDonald scored for Bluebell.

In division two Waverley thumped Glasson 11-2. David Knowles scored four and Craig Williams three while Marc Wilson (2), Chris Wilson and Darren Studholme also scored. Ryan Wilson got both of Glasson’s goals.

And there was a 1-1 draw in Barca32 v Seaton. Mark Grima scored for the home side and Marc Messenger for Seaton.

On Tuesday evening the top two in the premier – Northside and William Hill – fought out a 1-1 draw. Keith Anderson scored for William Hill and Michael Pickering for Northside.

And Senhouse were 2-1 winners at Red Lion. Stefan Scott got both for Senhouse and Kenneth Bowes netted for the home side.

Premier: Red Lion v Red House Athletic, Deer Orchard v Senhouse.
