TESCO champions Netherhall were unsuccessful in their bid to add the JJ’s Club Whitehaven Cup to their season’s tally.
Close rivals Longtown beat them in the final 2-0, both scored by Mark Temple.
Netherhall have another chance of more silverware tomorrow when they take on Bransty in the final of the Focsa Ken Glover Memorial Shield at Frizington’s Bishops Park (2pm ko).
The rest of the action last Saturday was in division one.
Carlisle City and Cleator Moor Celtic rounded off their season and it was City who finished the happier thanks to keeper Martin Pergey.
He played out of the nets and showed the strikers how to do things at the other end as he bagged a hat-trick.
Stephen Monaghan also got three and with Callum Johnston adding another goal the game finished 7-0 to City.
South Workington and Parton Utd finished off their season with wins.
South Workington beat Hearts 3-1 with Nick Wood netting a hat-trick.
Parton Utd - whose first game of the season was a 1-1 draw against their own Reserves side - finished strongly with a 5-0 win over the club’s second string.
Derek Calvin, Robert Ennis, Lee Holliday, Callum Circuit and Stuart McGee got the goals.
Wigton Athletic v St Bees was a 3-3 draw.
Fixtures Saturday - FOCSA Ken Glover Memorial Shield at Frizington’s Bishops Park (2pm ko): Bransty v Netherhall.
Monday - West Cumbria Scaffolding Divisional Cup at Netherhall (2pm ko): Carlisle AFC v FC32.
